 INSPIRATION

We've taken our inspiration from the sound of vintage hifi equipment from the 80s, at the height of the use of audio transformers, which gave a good, big, loud sound.

But as you would expect from an excellent hifi device, the DI02S also offers great transparency to respect the timbre of your instruments.

Ok, sounds cool,
but what about the
‍specs?

This unique DI02S is one of the results of tests carried out with our new method of printing front panels using direct UV printing - a process that gives us greater creative freedom while reducing our environmental impact (less toxic waste generated, Greenguard gold-certified inks...).

We printed this faceplate on a raw steel panel, treated by cold blackening process using hematite. It gives to this DI02S a truly distinctive finish, both raw and elegant.

All technical specs remain the same as the standard DI02S :

Class A push-pull power stage, inspired by vintage HI-FI output stages: a must for exceptional roundness and transients
Very high input impedance - over 4 MΩ - not loading the source, and independent of the PAD position
0 or +13dB input gain
OUTPUT PAD (-12/-24/-36dB) allowing to input microphone preamplifiers after the DI02S

Max input level: +9dBU without PAD | +18dBU with PAD
Max output level: +22dBU without PAD | +19dBU with PAD

Output transformer: Carnhill VT24499
Integrated buffer circuit on the LINK output
Rear instrument input, linked to the front panel input (could be used as a second LINK OUT, but will not benefit from the BUFFER)
VU Meter to monitor how hard you hit the output transformers (including clipping indicator)
Earth lift on the XLR outputs to avoid ground loops (independent for each channel)

Frequency response (1kΩ load) : ±1.0dB from 5.4Hz to 25+kHz | ±0.2dB from 20Hz to 20kHz
SNR : >102dB (0.2% max THD)
