Very important headroom, from +8 to +20dB on the input side (depending on the PAD position) and +20dB at the output.

"Buffer" feature on the Link output : always get the best sound, even with long cable runs and low impedance pedals & amps.

Input level indication on a multicolor led - a simple but indispensable time saver (on stage as well as in studio).
